If you thought Tom Sawyer was a right hand workout, give this song a try! Very underrated drum part. I also did something very unique in mixing this one, I didn't really mix it at all. All you're hearing is a little compression, saturation, and reverb on the drum bus and that's it. None of the individual drum mics or overheads were mixed at all. Literally no plugs-ins used on any of them. I wanted to emulate the nightclub-like sound of the original recording. It was really fun to just let the raw sound of the drums come through.
