Monkey Island 2 - LeChuck's Revenge: Special Edition - Part 1

So we kick things off here and there is an element of having to re-learn the controls (apologies, I do this onscreen as I don't have a manual). In this one, we're actually re-telling a story to Elaine whilst hanging from a rope, and so we head to Scabb Island. It's not clear at that point what happened to Guybrush and Elaine's relationship, which seemed to be budding at the end of the first game, and Guybrush seems to be living off his previous vanquishing of LeChuck. In the opening, we get the plot of his latest quest, to discover and claim the treasure Big Whoop. It's not on Scabb Island, where we've started, so we need to get a ship to go elsewhere. Then we also meet our antagonist, one Largo LaGrande, who also mugs us as we start, meaning we actually start with nothing at all. I don't get too far here, it's mainly the story and then I chat to Bart and Fink on the beach for a while. Then head into town and speak to the wood smith. That's about it for now.
