[JAPAN] Shinnosuke Mitsushima Tribute - Actor

This video introduces you to Mr. Shinnosuke Mitsushima (aka Shin), one of the hopeful upcoming film stars in Japan. His older sister is an award-winning actress, Hikari Mitsushima. Hikari and Shin are from Naha City, Okinawa prefecture where his parents still live. Besides Hikari, he has two younger siblings: a sister, Minami, and a youngest brother, Kohtaro. The Mitsushima children are all living in Tokyo. Minami works as a fashion model and Kohtaro who graduated from Takushoku University in Tokyo is a professional basketball player, representing Japan. The Mitsushimas is a very close net family. Shin's parents are both school gym teachers in Naha City. According to Shin, when his father was a young man, he accidentally found out that his birth father was an Italian artist who stayed in Japan for a while. So, that makes Shin quarter Italian; however, since Shin's father knows nothing of him and was brought up as Japanese, Shin says that his father considers himself pure Japanese. Before becoming an actor, Shin traveled all around Japan which was one of his childhood dreams. Originally, he wasn't interested in becoming an actor; it was rather accidental. When he was visiting his older sister, Hikari, at her film studio, he was asked to cover a small role in the film Hikari was in for the actor who took a sick leave. In such a way, he was scouted. Today, he is busy as an actor, making films and TV dramas; he also participates in TV/radio talk shows. Best of luck to both Shin and his siblings...!!
