Hathras gangrape case: TMC MPs blocked by cops from meeting the victim’s family

A day after the Congress party marched to meet the victim’s family and were stopped by the UP police, following which an FIR was filed against Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, the UP police have sealed the border. Trinamool Congress (TMC) MPs are trying to meet and get in contact with the victim’s family. Whereas, on the other end of the border, the upper caste men of the area have blocked the area questioning the claims made by the Hathras victim’s family. Kakoli Ghosh, TMC MP, is outraged by the police’s behaviour. She protested by saying, “A police officer touched me while we were trying to get in. It is our right. How dare he!
