Asintado: Week 16 Recap - Part 1 Dismayed by his recent discovery, Gael (Paulo Avelino) goes to a bar to drown his sorrows. Ana (Julia Montes) arrives just in time to witness things get a little out of control. Samantha (Shaina Magdayao), on the other hand, holds it against Hillary (Agot Isidro) when her mother tries to protect her from Gael. Meanwhile, Yvonne (Louise delos Reyes) and Mona (Empress Schuck) manage to take Jorge (Ronnie Quizon) captive. However, Xander’s group gets the shock of their lives when the hitman reveals the truth behind Melchor’s (Julio Diaz) identity. Celeste’s adoptive children struggle under the full weight of Melchor's (Julio Diaz) dark secret. Despite this, Ana (Julia Montes) and her new family persevere and continue their mission to make Salvador (Nonie Buencamino) pay for his crimes. Meanwhile, Gael (Paulo Avelino) comes to a decision regarding his marriage with Samantha (Shaina Magdayao). Desperate, Samantha asks Miranda (Lorna Tolentino) for help. Elsewhere, Salvador’s cronies start to turn their backs on him. Miranda (Lorna Tolentino) is taken in for questioning after the police receive evidence implicating her in Ana (Julia Montes) and Vicente’s (Lito Pimentel) case. Despite his concern for his mother, Gael (Paulo Avelino) warns Miranda of what he will do should the accusations against her prove to be real. Salvador (Nonie Buencamino), on the other hand, gets into another argument with Hillary (Agot Isidro) when he tries to come to Miranda’s aid. Meanwhile, Ana comforts Xander (Aljur Abrenica) about Melchor’s (Julio Diaz) betrayal. Later, Melchor asks Ana for forgiveness and reveals what happened on the night her parents died.
