The most disease-resistant mango trees to grow are those that don't require spraying to produce fruit. These are known as "insurance mangos" because, no matter how challenging the season is for mango diseases that typically affect most trees, leading to poor crops, these varieties are usually less impacted. They are renowned for their disease resistance. If you don’t plan on spraying your mango trees, it's important to taste the variety several times before settling on a particular one and ensure it is disease-resistant. No matter how great a mango tastes, if it succumbs to disease and doesn’t produce, it’s not worth planting. Be wise when planning your trees.
