Thank you for watching!  Although the Fates/IF games had mixed reception among Fire Emblem fans, most players agree that the trio's soundtrack is S-Rank, and I'm one of them!  "Road Taken", the standard skirmish theme, perfectly encapsulates the atmosphere of that world, and it's some of the best level-grinding music in the history of gaming - I hope that you'll find this rendition to be similarly listenable! In this remix, I wanted to preserve much of the original instrumentation because, well, it's just so dang good. The ensemble of piano, flute, guitar, and strings really does it for me, and that combination has been kept largely intact here, with a bit of synth support and some tweaks to the arrangement.  I initially intended for the remix to keep Calm, but as the project carried on it began to take on some Roar characteristics in certain sections. This is a song I've wanted to remix for several years, and it's fulfilling to finally be able to do that in the way I'd always hoped! I want to use this opportunity to recommend the music of likely one of the most underrated remixers you'll ever hear of: ‪@struttinevilmushroom5985‬!
