Over a hundred years ago Grizzly Bears existed in Lake County. Not only did they exist we had more Grizzly Bears here than any other area in California. One Grizzly however made headlines as a Notorious Killer that would decimate all in his path. His name was Reel Foot and this is his story as the famous man-eating bear that once ruled over our little community.
