An afternoon in the El Cotillo Lagoons beaches | El Cotillo Beach Vlog Miracles do happen sometimes. Sue and I actually had a trip to the beach together, just the two of us, for the first time in over a year. We should be thoroughly ashamed of ourselves as it was the beaches which were the big attraction for us in holidaying here for many years. We went to the El Cotillo lagoons to get away from the kids on the main beaches. Obviously the lagoons in Fuerteventura are a naturist beach but being on a nude beach doesn't bother us. They are generally quiet, which is the main thing. We fed some fruit to one of the lizards in the rocks who welcomed the moisture I think. One positive thing to note was that I looked for 3 pieces of plastic to take home, as is the current trend, but couldn't find any! Well done to those using the lagoons beach. In fact I couldn't see any litter on the beach apart from the filthy smokers' cigarette ends.
