Now GONE :( - The Vintage Dover Elevators at The Hilton MSP Airport Have Been Modernized By Otis!

For those of you who have been on my channel for awhile, you may recall the Hilton MSP Airport on the east side of Bloomington has some awesome 12 floor Dover impulses. These had some neat lobby indicators, older equipment, and definitely showed some character. It wasn’t until a few weeks ago that I discovered that Otis was modernizing these! Unfortunately, I discovered this too late, and I never got to ride the original elevators again. This was basically an entire replacement: Otis replaced EVERYTHING! The only things I see original are the doors and doortrack. While this is a sad mod, they did a VERY nice job, and I can tell these are going to last for a long time (well maybe aside from the few buttons that are already falling out) RIP Dover Impulses! You will be missed. There aren’t that many more impulse tractions in the Twin Cities. Oh also, the service elevator isn’t going to be modded according to records (probably because it has a slap on by MEI already).
