Becoming Enough (for me)- Intro Sculpture Class Project 2021

Here’s a short video I created as part of a mixed media installation to showcase my woodworking project during critique. The premise of my project was that I wanted to create a piece that was complimentary to my crochet plush cow. I chose not merely complimenting color wheel shades but to make a form that was rigid where the other was soft. I like to make lore for my birbs and cutie is a crowd favorite. So I decided to subvert expectations and make Cutie the cow into a bit of an antagonistic character in this plot. Ahhhh tbt to when I was writing poetry and in a poetry collective as well, so I snuck poetry into the mix here. Project date: 09/22/2021
