Mabel's Birthday Mountains
Somebody once said that they were glad I posted videos of trips to the mountains because it took them places they were no longer able to go. So this is nothing more than the sounds and sights of a journey to - and through - the Scottish hills with Mabel as she turned eight this week. She doesn't go round them as silently and stoically as Olive, but she would follow me to the ends of the earth. Glas Tulaichean, Carn an Righ and Beinn iuatharn Mhòr. Grouse and Ptarmigan. And a reunion at the end which may prove to be the most popular part... (Apologies for the sound quality on the phone filming when I zoom in...)
