60s dental hygiene film "Laurie Learns a Secret" (16mm)

This film aims to refresh young adults' knowledge of oral hygiene techniques they may have learned in elementary school, but don't routinely practice. Laurie is told by her dentist, Dr. Allan, that although she brushes her teeth twice a day, she is still not cleaning them properly. Her teeth are coated with plaque and she is at risk for periodontal disease. Laurie rinses her mouth with a disclosing solution that highlights areas of plaque that remain even after brushing.
