Hey peaches! I: You introduce yourself first, camera one. PB: I'm Pete Burns. SC: Hi. I'm Steve Coy. TL: Hello, I'm Tim Lever MP: Hello, I'm Mike Percy. I: And four of you have been together for... SC: Three and a half years. I: Three and a half years. Why, why did you come here for a promotion? Did you...? PB: That's a silly question. We came here because I, we all wanted to say really and also the records been successful as a very good career prospects for us out here. And the bonuses is the best place that we've been to so far, we've been everywhere. This is the best place in fact we don't want to go home. I: But the way the records they're doing over here, you know? You get a conscience? PB: Well we haven't got time to do concerts set it to be honest during the short time we've been here. All anybody asks about is concerts. There's more to promotion than concerts. If we were doing concerts we wouldn't be here talking or doing interviews, we'd just be doing the concerts. We feel that we can cover more ground without doing the concerts. We, we simply haven't got the time. I: I understand you individually you have been with the other groups. Other groups of different colors or different musical taste. PB: I was in a blue group. No... We were all, we were all in different groups or less. I will... I've always been in my own group. I think I've always been the boss but that these little little devils I found only got my cheecks and picked them up for obscurity and made them stars. I: Yeah, but was it dificult? PB: Was it dificult? TL: Nothing wasn't it dificult PB: No... we've worked a long time for the success we have now. It wasn't difficult. It just was, it just was a long time happening but it happened when we deserved it when we actually made a very good record. So it seems like yesterday we started out I: Oh yeah. And about... Pete. Didn't you see in any paper that Boy George... PB: I don't want to talk about Boy George I: He took your style... he took, he copied your style... PB: Snapped up my bathroom scales and broke them down I: What about some other fashion? PB: I don't wanna talk about Boy George. Next. I: You have definite designers or... PB: We, we, we, we like actually Japanese designers. Yohji Yamamoto have come to us on all those designers that we like anyway. So it's just, it's takes good fun for us to be here because we go out and buy everything that we got ever wanted because the ranges in Britain are very limited. The buyers don't buy the whole ranges but mostly things that we have to buy Japanese designers you do, have the best designers in the world, they'll be... I: No problem with the size? PB: No. Not like Boy George.
