In 1965 the Pininfarina design was not only brilliant but timeless. This particular design was particularly successful for Pininfarina, versions of this design were used with 3 different manufacturers, Fiat Peugeot and Ferrari. The fiat was the one with the greatest numbers built and in my opinion the proportions were the best on the Fiat. The car is an European market red colored 1965 Fait 1500 Spider two-door cabriolet serial #118K043937(taken from the cowl serial stamping visible below the hood) The original serial data plate, that would also contain the car’s engine number and paint code, is no longer present but its mounting screws remain.
