#fiat #restoration #engine Fiat restoration series. It's another video in the series, last time I started the motor tear down for engine rebuild. Second video of camshaft carrier/housing restoration. Part number 46550108. It's in pretty bad shape, worse than it looks. Stay tuned to find out if I was able to restore it. It's one of my cars, but this one is just a car build project, I work on it when I have some spare time. The car body is partially restored, so this project car build is slowly moving forward. I decided on Brava cause it isn't popular and I always wanted to check fiat car. There will be a front widebody in the future of this project car build. First, this Fiat was to be just a daily, I don't want to do a lot with it, just remove leakings to pass MOT. But we all know how it's always end, you want to keep something stock but you just can't. A lot of people just restore or tune hondas or VW cars, so I decided to have fun with Italy car! Rust protection is also pretty solid, sad thing that the previous owner doesn't give a s*** about this car. Engine oil was a tar sludge, when I wanted to change gearbox oil there was almost nothing inside! power steering fluid probably was there from the beginning, and this car still ran normally. The more I disassemble it the more I was shocked that everything worked without any problem. It was a long rebuild, cleaning the housing took over 3 weeks, so sorry for speedups and cuts.
