DIY SuperDuo Candy Cane- Day 2 of Candy Cane Christmas

Some time back I stumbled upon a tutorial by Heather of The Potomac Bead Company for a beaded heart. I was hunting for a beaded shamrock but could not find anything I liked. While I was watching the heart video, I got to thinking that I could modify it to make a shamrock...and then I got to thinking it would make a nice candy cane as well. Well, after fighting long and hard to make suitable shamrock, I forgot about the candy cane idea. Who could blame me? That design process took months to figure out. It was a pain and I did NOT want to go through it again in a hurry. Flash forward to a week or so ago when I decided beaded candy canes were necessary to my life. I remembered thinking that Heather's heart would make a pretty candy cane and I got to work. It only took a couple of hours and I had something that was just beautiful in its simplicity. I was completely satisfied. Now, here is the finished result. I hope you like it!
