I recorded this live from my phone on the 28th of March 2019 at a music store opening. It was an astounding highlight of my life. Seeing these amazing musicians who have been such an influence on me since i first hear Monster On A Leash. The hear Mimi talk so honestly about the band and to hear them play up so close was something i'll never forget. That evening I saw the band play live in Melbourne, then I flew to Sydney the following day to see them play there too. In the 36 years that i've been following them they have only been to Australia 3 times that i know of. Caloundra music festival twice and then this trip in 2019. The first time i saw them was in Caloundra on their 2nd visit and there is no way to describe the feeling of seeing and hearing this iconic band live for the first time. There were tears! Tower Of Power forever - I wish that were true, but they are all getting older and it can't last forever but I you can tell the passion that Mimi has and he will do it as long as he can I'm sure.
