Take a look at my First AC follow focus + director’s monitor rig—a super portable setup built from SmallRig mounts, 15mm rods, Tilta Nucleus Nano, and a SmallHD 5” monitor. I wanted something lightweight, customizable, and fast to deploy on set: handheld, clamped to a C-stand/light stand, or resting beside camera when changing lenses. This isn’t a “copy this exactly” build—it's a blueprint of ideas you can adapt to your own gear. I reused a ton of existing parts: 50mm rod handle, old shoulder-rig grip, MPF battery to DC/USB plate, dummy LP-E6 power, tension-adjustable monitor mount, female-to-female HDMI extender, and a coiled cable for clean cable management.
