A drawer front made of interlocking joints

A draw front is primarily a showpiece, so I wanted to display some interesting joints. The main joint is inspired by Kanawa tsugi (wedged scarf joint). I modified the original joint design so it can join two boards end to end. The new design essentially consists of two Kanawa tsugi joints stacked back to back. On top of that, I also secured the handle to the two wedges with a third wedge. The entire assembly is held together with wedges only; no glues or screws are used, and everything can be taken apart with just a mallet. I made it mostly with hand tools, and I had a lot of fun.
