US airstrikes have been hitting Houthi targets in Yemen for weeks. Yemen's oil refineries, airports and missile bases are reeling from the effects of these airstrikes. President Trump vows to use overwhelming force until he achieves his goal of preventing the US from targeting shipping in the Red Sea. This group in Yemen has carried out more than 100 attacks and sunk two ships. Seventy percent of the merchant ships that once passed through the Red Sea now take the long route around South Africa. Trump is uncomfortable with this situation. The United States has recently deployed the USS Harry Truman and the USS Carl Winson to the Red Sea and the Persian Gulf to prevent this tension and commercial damage caused by the Houthis. It is known that USS Carl Winson's arrival in the region is imminent. B-2 and B-52 bombers are currently on standby in Yemen, ready to bomb Houthi-controlled areas. In addition to these aircraft, A-10 Thunderbolt, F-15E, F-35 fighter jets, MQ-9 strike drones have blockaded Yemen. In addition, CENTCOM reports that the US' navy operation in the Red Sea continues 24/7 and that the operations are supported by Tomahawk missiles from warships as well as the air force. PATRIOTs and THAAD systems are in place to counter Houthi attacks. National Security Advisor Mike Waltz said that all these military build-ups are working very well, and that a large number of Houthi leaders have been eliminated so far. According to analysts, some 80 Houthi military officers have reported casualties, but there are still some in the top echelon of the military and political leadership who remain in the crosshairs. Some of the Houthi missile launch sites are also targeted by the US. The Trump regime insists that it will not abandon offensive operations against the Houthis until they are completely wiped out of Yemen. It is already clear from recent US airstrikes that the Trump regime is indeed determined to do so. Since early April, B-2 bombers have been heavily bombarding Houthi command centers and weapons depots in Yemen. F-35s, A-10 Thunderbolts and F-15s are mainly participating in the operations. In fact, the latest round of attacks has been going on since mid-March. Since then, almost 25 percent of the Houthis' military resources in Hodeidah are believed to have been eliminated. After a massive Houthi military facility in Sanaa was bombed at the end of March, it was claimed that the proportion of the group's resources destroyed had increased. On April 2, the US navy and air force struck the Houthi-controlled water management building in Hodeidah. There were suspicions that the Houthis were stockpiling a large number of military resources. The Trump administration, in response to these suspicions, ordered a large number of bombing raids in the region. While these attacks were taking place, it was reported that bombing attacks also took place in the settlements of Hajjah and Saada. The Houthi command center in Saada in northern Yemen was the target of strikes on April 5. While this was to be recorded as the last US airstrikes, a new air campaign was reported. On April 6, the US again targeted the Houthis in Yemen with airstrikes.
