Autumn at Gosford Forest Park. Perfect for painting inspiration

We revisited one of our favourite outdoor places today; Gosford Forest Park in County Armagh, Northern Ireland. Everywhere I turned there was inspiration for a painting. Long vistas, autumn leaves glowing in the November low sunlight or photogenic mature trees and reflections on the pond. I spotted a little Treecreeper bird travelling up the trunk of a beech tree searching for insects in the bark. It was a first for me and my footage didn't do the moment justice. So, this video is just a glimpse of what caught my artist eye that day which I will keep in mind for future paintings. I show a painting at the end that I made a few years ago. It's one I have treasured as it is a reminder for us of the many happy camping trips we had over the years gone by, with family members and our various pet dogs.
