Unlabeled, but reminding us strongly of Roman Tellers, this older instrument (probably of German origin) is deliciously complex with so much power and volume. Dynamically responsive, with lots of wonderful color to play around with. Feels very powerful under the hand, very easy to get a full, dynamic range out it it, even in the upper positions. Loves vibrato! The A is meaty and complex with lots of juicy overtones. Well-balanced. Perfect for someone who is looking for a nicely played in, older instrument with LOTS of power.
