A spokesperson for the Kosovo Energy Corporation said the power plant in Obiliq was running near capacity despite reports of power outages across the country. As temperatures plummeted to -25 C (-13 F), there were power outages reported in many areas due to power cables freezing and other problems with infrastructure. A public health ministry spokesperson only confirmed that three wounded civilians were brought to hospital. Taliban spokesman, Zabihullah Mujahid claimed responsibility for Tuesday's attacks.
