What is God Eater and Where Should You Start?

Hey guys Tiller here! So we're about to enter a rough month where I can't find a lot of games to review. So today and over the course of the next few weeks potentially, I will be talking about the series that introduced me to Bandai Namco's anime original games: God Eater. The God Eater series originally debuted on Playstation Portable (PSP) in Japan of 2010. This game is what many would call anime Monster Hunter. In some sense that is true. The game wasn't localized initially but upon the announcement of God Eater Burst which packaged the base game with all its DLC and a new extended story, it was released in the West in 2011. God Eater takes place in a post apocalyptic world. Set after creatures known as Aragami have taken over the world. Your job as a God Eater is to slay these creatures which you also use to make new parts for your weapon. Over the next few weeks and extra I will be reviewing or at least discussing every existing mainline God Eater title. This includes: God Eater God Eater Burst God Eater Resurrection God Eater Online God Eater 2 God Eater 2 Rage Burst God Eater Resonant Ops God Eater 3 Some of these will be lengthier than others so I hope you bear with me in my discussion.
