The MP CAT 21 is a purpose built ambulance catamaran. In the design process there has been put a lot of effort in making the vessel as safe and comfortable for the passengers as possible. Further focus has been put on the operating efficiency of the boat with special attention on the big differences in port docking facilities and large variance of the tidal water. With fuel efficient lines plan the MP CAT 21 has combined low fuel consumption with very good maneuverability. The MP CAT 21 design is a versatile vessel than can be fitted with either fixed pitch propellers, waterjet, IPS or CP Propellers. Twin engine installation with separate fuel tanks give full redundancy which increase safety and reliability. Hydraulic thruster will also be fitted. MP CAT 21 has been designed to meet the Norwegian standard for to enable people with reduced mobility to get full access to all facilities. The vessel is further on built according to Class and Authorities rules and Maritime Partner high standards. The hull, main deck and superstructure is made of composite materials.
