Any physical activity can be stressful and difficult for a child with special needs and a parent. I have carefully seeked out guidance and suggestions from her Occupational Therapist, former Intervention Specialist and her 2 Physical Therapist. Most of the recommendations and techniques I use to help her gain this skill are suggested by them. I continue to be under their guidance and constant teaching. I, myself, am not a therapist.
