The Revelstoke 5620 trail takes top spot as the world's longest flow trail at 14km and a total drop of... 5620 feet. We rode thsi trail back in September as part of a Canadian Rockies Road Trip taking i the destinations of Fernie, Rossland and Revelstoke. We rode the trail just the once and this is the result. As such it's not spectacular footage - the main attraction of this blue trail i sthe speed you can carry through it, which is something you can only really get the most out of after a few rides. We went as fast as we dared to. There are no real dangers to be had on this trail and it can be tackled by any competent rider. The risk factor is set by the speed you choose to ride it. There are jumps that are all clearly marked with flags at the kicker and none have gaps - all can be safely rolled at low speeds. The start of the trail involves a Gondola uplift followed by a 6km climb on a really nice trail through trees before youo top out into the treeless sub alpine zone. The start of the trail is at a little over 7200 feet. We were riding Specialized Levo eMTBs rented from the fleet at the base.
