Almost no one saw THIS Union Pacific Big Boy 4014 May 2 Run ! Episode 45 TOUR: Big Boy 4014 Break-In Run May 2, 2019 Union Pacific Big Boy 4014 on it's break-in run to Greeley, Colorado before the planned 150th Golden Spike celebration in Ogden, Utah. The day began with many moves of named cars Howard Fogg, Art Lockman, Lynn Nystrom, and the secondary yellow tender UPP 809. Leaving Northern class 4-8-4 #844 in the shops for the day, oil burning Big Boy # 4014's destination is Greeley, Colorado which is a common short break-in run from Cheyenne, as well as the home to the Colorado Model Railroad Museum (see previous videos). Also, the day saw lots of Union Pacific diesel and freight traffic along the same corridor that the Big Boy is planned to take to navigate to the Golden Spike celebration at the transcontinental railroad national historic site.
