In Phase 2, some newly added parry (deflect) mechanics require very precise timing. There’s a sequence where she continuously spins her blades. During the spin, parrying is possible, but the timing has to be extremely precise. It’s recommended to use multi-hit attacks to parry. You can do things like multi-hit normal attacks + dodge, or multi-hit orb-clearing attacks + dodge. That said, the parry detection can be inconsistent at times. She doesn’t have many skills overall, but it takes time to get used to them. Another move is when she releases three sword waves in a row — this one relies heavily on reaction speed. She has a subtle backward step animation before doing it, but it’s very fast, so you need to prepare your dodge in advance. Roland does have multi-hit attacks. The white orb’s second-stage spinning slash is one example, but it’s risky, so I don’t really make much use of it. His ultimate with the red orb does have multi-hit potential, but I need to save it for survivability when entering her domain.
