At this time of year I like to dedicate a trip targeting my favourite flattie, the plaice! drifting worm baits along a sandy section of the Cornish coastline is a relaxing and sometimes rewarding process in the right conditions! SIBs are affected by wind more so than conventional craft, the big tubes, shallow draft and lightweight characteristics mean the vessel gets blown across the water easily. When the conditions no longer favour bait we switch to lures and have fun with some of the resident reef species.
