009 Society 50th Anniversary Celebration Exhibition - Statfold Barn Railway | The Railway Room

Today on The Railway Room is a visit to the 009 Society 50th Anniversary exhibition at the Statfold Barn Railway on 16th September 2023. This event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the creation of the 009 Society was held over the weekend of 16-17 September, and featured 55 layouts, plus manufacturers, traders, preservation societies and the Statfold museum and railway in action. This video shows just a small selection of what was on show - apologies to those layouts I did not film, there were so many excellent layouts I intended to come back to when it was a little quieter, only to then run out of time! This was a truly spectacular event, and every layout had something special to recommend it.
