This is a video lecture on JOINT PROBABILITY DISTRIBUTIONS FOR DISCRETE AND CONTINUOUS RANDOM VARIABLES. Six examples are used to illustrate this Joint Probability Distributions. One example was used to illustrate the Joint PMF of the two discrete random variables X and Y. The same example was used also in solving for the Marginal Distribution of X and the Marginal Distribution of Y where both are discrete random Variables. Another example is used to demonstrate the concept of Joint Cumulative Distribution of X and Y where both are discrete random variables. Similarly, another 3 examples were used to illustrate for Joint PDF of two continuous random variables X and Y as well as the Marginal Distributions of X and Marginal Distributions of Y together with the concept of Joint Cumulative Distribution of X and Y. Furthermore, the lecture closes with an example that depicts on how to solve for the Joint PDF of 2 random variables given the Joint CDF of a distribution. / @mathyourwayup-dr.roderickmisa
