So, we always travel to Goa on Diwali break to be with family and a Kid gets to celebrate the festival with his grand parents. We travelled to Goa on a road trip via AnuskuraGhat route. Western Sayadhari Ghats (hills) of Maharashtra looks absolutely stunning in the monsoon ot just after monsoon season with lush green surrounding all around. Since the road widening work was happening after Satara to Kolhapur there were diversions after every few Kilometers, so we took Anuskura Ghat road via malkapur to Rajapur. But never the less the road trip to Goa is always a memorable one. In between we encountered unexpected rain as we reached Amboli Ghat and as we entered Goa. The main sections in this Mumbai to Goa route are as follows: 1. Mumbai to Pune by the Mumbai Pune Expressway 2. Pune to Satara to Karad (NH-48) 3. kale pachwad road Malkapur to Oni (SH-111) 4. Oni to Rajapur (NH66) 5.
