I am always getting lost in Thailand, and today a wrong turn took me down some rather rough back roads on my Honda NX500 motorcyle. But first, we explore Ranong, Thailand. What started as a ride on my Honda NX500 into Ranong to visit a temple, grab some good food, and explore the area quickly turned into an unexpected detour down rocky back roads… and eventually straight through a creek. But first, let's try some delicious home made lasagne and explore the local Hot Springs. The creek crossing at the end was not exactly planned — but that’s what makes solo motorcycle touring in Thailand so addictive. My Honda NX500 motorbike handled it like a champ, but I still need to improve my off road riding skills.
