cozy desert river camp: living out of my Jeep in Moab

My Jeep-home-on-wheels is taking us to Moab, Utah this week, where my partner and I spent a night at a cozy campsite right by the shores of the Colorado River. I’m usually not a big fan of campgrounds, I prefer being out in the wilderness, but this one was too good to pass up. We cooked breakfast by the river, went on a little hike along one of my favorite creeks in the area with a stunning rock arch at the very end, spent the evening taking photographs on film and lighting a campfire beneath the red canyon walls. After a few weeks in the desert, I guess I was really drawn to water. Shot with a mix of #bmpcc4k , fujii gfx and iphone pro. All film photography is with my Hasselblad 500c and Standard Camera 4x5.
