Young divers learn from elite athletes ahead of Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series | ABS-CBN News

Ahead of the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series 2025, Fil-Australian cliff diver Xantheia Pennisi and Ukrainian cliff diver Oleksiy Prygorov trained with the Philippine Diving Team as part of the tournament's media day at the New Clark City Aquatic Center in Capas, Tarlac on April 1, 2025. The young Filipino divers made the most of learning from Prygorov and Pennisi who traces her Filipino roots in Tarlac. The world's best cliff divers, 14 men and 12 women, will gather in El Nido, Palawan for the first leg of the 16th edition of the tournament on April 11. El Nido was also the opening venue of the tournament back in 2019 where the divers competed in the natural cliffs of the island. The 2025 series will next make stops in Italy, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and will conclude in Boston in the United States.
