Around East Anglia there is hardly any River fishing for Trout, so still water fly fishing is the only way. South Elmham Lakes is about 15 minutes drive from the A143 at Bungay and is hidden deep in rural Norfolk. Comprising of 4 lakes (one of them is currently closed) with a good stock of Rainbow and Brown Trout. £25.00 will get you 3 fish to take home and 3 fish catch and release. Still early in the season, the first lake (where the wooden cabin is located) was where most of the action was. Here they where on the surface but not taking dry flies. I'm using the rigged and ready x5 adventure in its fly variation. This is such a great verstitile travel fishing rod.
