Finally I made my way to Penang, a place I've been really wanted to visit ever since John Elevator came here in 2016 and filmed a bunch of nice old elevators! Of course I had already prepared a list of some of the elevators I've been wanted to film. To start off, here is just a typical China made KONE elevator in a historic building which now houses a restaurant on the upper floor. The building is from the 1920s so the elevator is obviously not original; it might have been installed during renovation in 2012.
