patreon.com/M0FXBHAMRADIODIARY https://www.icomjapan.com/lineup/opti... Few comments: The tuner is not going to kick in with 0.3 W. It needs 5 W to 15 W to tune. The 0.3 W is how much it's going to radiate while tuning. The AT-130/140/141 (and AH-4 I believe) tuners have an internal attenuator which is connected in line with the radio. The up-side is that, during the tuning process, radio always sees good SWR, and at the same time, the tuner is not radiating lots of power into the antenna, so it does not disturb other users. The costs for Japanese market are 65,780 JPY with tax and 59,800 JPY without tax. Additionally, they expect to start selling it in April, and expect to sell 2800 units per year globally. Here's the source for that: https://www.icom.co.jp/news/6756 For long-wire, you got it the other way around. The point you're mentioning is the ground connection. On the other side of the tuner, there's a white ceramic insulator and a screw for the long wire. Also, I really wonder if it's going to have any major differences from the AT-130/140/141 line of tuners. I myself got an AT-141 few weeks ago, and after converting it for amateur use (1 wire in the control cable needs to be moved one solder joint up, the needed parts on the PCB were populated in factory), I've noticed that it also works on 6 meters as well, even though it's outside of the specification for that tuner.
