FAU students struggle to find on-campus housing amid rise in applications

In April, CBS12 News told you about the record-breaking number of applicants Florida Atlantic University (FAU) received, but as the student population increases, what does that mean for housing? Right now, the campus is already dealing with a housing crisis and doesn’t have enough room for its current students. In a statement released to CBS12 News in April, FAU told us it is working to build more student housing: “We are in the process of seeking approval to build more university housing.
