February 22nd (yes, I made a small mistake in the movie title) 2020, the fourth day of our Antarctica Trip. During the early morning we crossed the Lemaire Channel for a 2nd time this trip (lucky us) returning from the Antarctic Polar Circle. The first landing that day was at Damoy Point. While some people prefered to do a snow-shoe walk up-to the old British Airstrip, we choose to go the other direction to visit a Gentoo colony. After we returned back to the landing spot we had some magical moments with the Gentoo chicks - never to forget. During lunch we sailed through the Neumayer Channel to reach our second landing spot: Stoney Point: Our 1st step on the Antarctic Continent. Views over Paradise Bay one will never forget. Cruising the zodiacs back we watched Crabeater and Leopard Seals from very close by. In the evening we had a BBQ on the rear deck. If we would have only had this day, it would have been worth the trip!
