Preston Thorne and Langston Moore are authors and former football players for the University of South Carolina. They visited Windsor Elementary School in Columbia, SC to share their inspirational story and children's book, Just A Chicken. With their book, the two were there to show children the importance of reading, writing, and speaking. Moore and Thorne expressed how important the three skills are not just now, but how fundamental they will be in whatever the students become in life. They also emphasized how growing these skills will give them confidence in their day-to-day lives.
