So almost 3 months ago, after smoking the beautiful Marijuana since I was 13 years old, I decided to quit. and the benefits were almost immediate. I had more money, I felt healthier, and most importantly, for the most part, my anxiety seems to have abated. But all of a sudden I started having the most insane, vivid Nightmares I have ever had in my life. It lasted almost 2 months and slowly started to fade, but I was curious as to why. So I decided to share what happens to your brain and your REM sleep after quitting. Hopefully, this gives you a heads-up and lets you know what to expect if you decide to take a break or quit. Mind you I still love weed, it has been my friend for almost 4 decades, but I decided it was time to take on what's left of my life with my brain unhindered by alcohol and drugs.
