Ice Climbing Fun in Iceland - Kökuboð WI3+ in BrattaBrekka | February 2022

Had such a fun day climbing with Kaspar Sólveigarson in Brattabrekka! We were planning on climbing an easy multipitch route that day but from the approach we noticed a big cornice overhanging right above the last pitch of the route so we decided to look for other options (we weren't feeling particularly lucky that day). We ended up finding a short route (Mostlikely "Kökuboð" WI3+) only a 10 min hike from the side of the road. The first section started with ice and transitioned into deep steep snow all the way up to a roughly 10 meter tall hollow ice pillar.
