My name is Horst Brammer and I am the operations manager of Kartoffelhof Nassau GmbH, a part of the Heilmann AG. Here in Schleswig-Holstein we grow on 370 hectares table potatoes. Our requirements are simple, we produce table potatoes in highest quality. We sell potatoes in small packages to customers which means we sell small and uniformly potatoes. Due to that we decided first time this year to grow three lines in one bed to reach a better distribution of the plants. We do not create tramlines in our beds that means we drive with the sprayer above two beds with a track width of 3.6 meters and do not need them. Three years ago we had to buy a new sprayer. We got a demonstration by Agrifac and was impressed by the stable boom balance. But in the beginning we thought that the price is too high for us and a trailed sprayer can do the same. We found out it is not the case and it was not working fine. We remembered Agrifac and decided to take an Endurance. At the moment we spray 200 liters per hectare and with a tank capacity of 8000 liters we are able to spray 40 hectares with one load. We drive with a track width of 3.6 meters and have a very stable boom a very safe ride. In addition one of our requirements is to use as much pesticides as needed butas less as possible. Fulfilling this requirement is only possible if the pesticides are distributed optimal on the field. With the Agrifac sprayer that is possible. With the HTA-System we are able to regulate the droplet size during the ride, for example when wind is coming up we are able to make the droplets bigger in size and so we are not as sensitive to wind anymore. We sprayed approximatly 1000 hectares this year and we have not had the case that one of the HTA nozzels was blocked. In other years we had problems with blocked nozzels but like said before on 1000 hectares we had no problems with this. Another point is the pressure regulation which is working very fast, it is reacting instantly and so we have nearly no spray liquid in the tank after spraying. The perfect working GPS-System avoids overlaps. --- My name is Ruben Neumann and I am the agricultural worker on the Kartoffelhof Nassau GmbH. I am driving the sprayer as a main part of my work and I am impressed by the comfort and the easy handling of the machine. The driving-comfort is always very high no matter if you are on the road or on a lane in the field. On the field the machine is very calm and coordinated, it works reliable and properly. The handling in general with the EcoTronicPlus Touch Screen appeared complicated in the first time but after very short time you learned to work with it and than it is very easy. We also use the Norac-System in our sprayer for the boom stability and it is working impeccable. The driver is able to do other important things and do not have to concentrate on the boom stability and that is a very nice thing. That was the main points why we decided to invest into an Agrifac sprayer, we are simply enthusiastic about the driving comfort, the easy operation and the boom stability.
