Wesley's Lost (The First-Ever Fictional Short Film Book Trailer?)

My new photo book NOTICE Journal, Volume One is out now and starts shipping November 26th. Order your copy now at www.newstyle.co! You know how most book trailers go: here's the book, here's what's in it, look at some pretty pictures, and please buy it. But that didn't feel right. Instead, I teamed up with director Joseph Frank and cinematographer Arsen Babaian to make something that captures what it actually feels like to put something you care about into the world - all the stress, excitement, and wild fever panic dreams included. What we made is "Wesley's Lost" - a short film that's a bit weird, pretty chaotic, and hopefully makes you laugh. It's fiction, but the feelings behind it are very real. This limited edition book was fully shot on black-and-white film with a 1964 Olympus Pen-F. Each diptych was created in-camera over 70 days of walking through Amsterdam across three spring seasons. NJV1 is designed by Dan Rubin, with a cover by Maxwell George, an essay by Caroline Cala Donofrio, a spring recipe by Hetty Lui McKinnon, and a custom word mark by Jessica Hische. Directed by Joseph Frank Cinematography by Arsen Babaian
