In this video, Panini Prizm takes on Mosaic Basketball in a head-to-head value challenge. I am trying to determine the best NBA Sports Card Value & Retail Blaster Box for basketball, even though I already think it's Prizm by far. However, today we put that belief to the test by running experiments to determine which panini product yields the highest ROI and deserves my money (or your money if you are stuck between the two). I am officially back for basketball season, pivoting away from football to hunt for massive NBA rookie cards. Going to miss football cards for a bit, as I am big on investing and trading quarterbacks. I’m placing 2021-22 Panini Prizm against 2020-21 Panini Mosaic to determine which product offers the best "Gold Standard" value for your personal collection. My Mosaic Results: The Auto: I pulled a sticker autograph in the very first pack! Mosaic was off to a hot start and came with two more packs in total, including Prizm. Key Parallels: I landed a Green Mosaic legend.... Dirk Nowitzki. The Reality: I hit way too many "all base" packs, proving the volatility of this product. Wait until you see what one of the packs had... let's say I got Panini'd. My Prizm Results: The Rookies: I hit solid base cards of Scottie Barnes and Jonathan Kuminga. However, that was all for a while, and my early claim that Prizm was the "gold standard" looked like a stretch.
