In this video, I take you to one of the most controversial and heavily restricted border crossings in Israel — the Allenby Bridge (King Hussein Bridge) near Jericho. This is the only border where Israeli Jews are not allowed to cross into Jordan, unless they receive special permission for religious pilgrimage. What makes this place so unique is not just the restriction itself, but the layers of political tension, historical complexity, and the unspoken rules that still govern movement in the region. I tried to cross the border myself, only to face an unexpected roadblock that revealed just how complicated this area really is.
