The forest looked magical… ❄️ But some of our 100-year-old homestead roofs were carrying dangerous weight. We were told to wait for help. Mikhael had other plans. But beauty can hide risk. Our 100-year-old rural homestead buildings began to suffer under the heavy snow load. The greenhouse, farm buildings, and even the house roofs were under pressure. Help arrived — our son-in-law cleared the greenhouse and promised to return on the weekend to help with the roofs. But Mikhael couldn’t wait. At 60+, he climbed and cleared the snow from two farm buildings and our home roof himself — carefully, courageously, and maybe a little acrobatically. Meanwhile, our granddaughter built a snowman and shared quiet winter joy with her grandfather. And then — slowly — the snow began to melt. Spring arrived softly. Snowdrops bloomed. And while winter was fading… We quietly opened our camper van season. By the time we made this video, we also have already completed our first spring journey to another European country — and returned home.
